At Wisconsin’s Democratic state convention, Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez led the WisPolitics straw poll for governor with 164 votes (27.5%), ahead of Rep. Francesca Hong at 138 (23.1%), and Sen. Kelda Roys in third with 114; Mandela Barnes was sixth with 41. In the presidential portion for 2028, Pete Buttigieg led with 102 votes (17.7%), just ahead of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at 101 (17.5%), with JB Pritzker at 81. The event drew 682 delegates and 359 guests, with about 60% of attendees casting straw-poll votes.
