Former J&K Governor Satyapal Malik to be probed by CBI over bribery allegations
The CBI will question former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satyapal Malik next week over his claim that he was offered a bribe of Rs 300 crore during his tenure as governor. The CBI had earlier registered two cases in April last year based on Malik's statement. The agency will also question a secretary rank official whom Malik had named in his statement. Malik had also claimed that he had told PM Modi that the Pulwama terror attack could have been averted if the home ministry had accepted CRPF's request to provide an aircraft to transport the paramilitary personnel.
