Schuylerville mourns loss of Kaylin Gillis, father hopes for justice.
Rep. Elise Stefanik expressed her condolences over the death of Kaylin Gillis, a 20-year-old Schuylerville woman who was killed when a homeowner fired two shots at the car she was riding in after it turned into the wrong driveway in Hebron. Stefanik, who represents the district where Gillis was killed, said the entire Schuylerville community mourns the senseless loss of precious life taken far too soon. The homeowner, Kevin Monahan, has been charged with second-degree murder and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment.
