Detroit Red Wings Make Big Move, Acquire 40-Goal Scorer Alex DeBrincat
The Detroit Red Wings have addressed their need for scoring power by trading for 40-goal scorer Alex DeBrincat and signing him to a four-year contract extension. The Wings sent Dominik Kubalik, prospect Donovan Sebrango, a conditional first-round pick, and a fourth-round pick to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for DeBrincat. The 25-year-old forward has recorded two 41-goal seasons and has consistently been a strong scorer throughout his NHL career.
