Shooting at Northeast Las Vegas Middle School
A security monitor was shot outside Von Tobel Middle School in Las Vegas, causing the school to go into a hard lockdown. The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. No students were injured. The shooter has not been arrested. Parents and students were left shaken by the incident, and some expressed frustration with the lack of safety in schools. The Clark County Education Association called the lack of safety in schools a crisis and a "school shooting waiting to happen."
