
Flyers Surge to 3-0 Series Lead With 5-2 Win Over Penguins
Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 to take a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. After an early Penguins goal by Evgeni Malkin, Philly struck for three in the second period (Zegras tying, Ristolainen and Seeler giving a 3-1 edge) before Erik Karlsson’s third-period goal made it 3-2. Noah Cates and Owen Tippett added insurance, and Dan Vladar stopped 28 of 30 shots. Porter Martone registered his first playoff assist, and the Flyers went 2-for-3 on the power play and 3-for-5 on the PK.
