Garth Brooks revealed that his wife, Trisha Yearwood, offered to change her last name to Brooks as a gift for their anniversary, but he declined the proposal. Brooks said that he would be willing to change his name to Yearwood instead. The country singer also announced the launch of a new station on his SEVENS Radio Network called BABE, which will focus on women in entertainment, and hopes that his wife will be heavily involved. Brooks and Yearwood have been married since 2005 and met in 1987 while recording a demo track together.
