Trump's Controversial Presence at CNN Town Hall in New Hampshire.
Former President Donald Trump appeared at his first televised town hall of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, where he repeated falsehoods about the 2020 election, joked about a sexual abuse verdict against him, and called CNN moderator Kaitlan Collins a "nasty person." Trump declined to offer more moderate positions on issues, which political analysts say is key to broadening his appeal to a wider swath of Republicans. He also repeated his plan to pardon individuals involved in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack if voters return him to the White House in 2024.
