A 19-year-old man was arrested in Florida after police found written threats for a shooting spree and other attacks in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop. The suspect, Henry Horton IV, had plans to purchase firearms and kill everyone at his former high school on his 22nd birthday in 2026. He admitted to having mental health issues and a history of similar thoughts, and had also visited and studied the site of the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Horton has been charged with intimidation with written threats and remains in jail on a $1 million bond.
