Christian Bale Opens 11,000-Square-Foot Foster Village in Palmdale to Keep Siblings Together
Christian Bale helped open an 11,000-square-foot foster care village in Palmdale as part of Together California, a 12-home community (with two studio apartments) designed to keep siblings together and provide stability, support and care for Los Angeles foster children; the project was funded by donations, including nearly $9 million raised by the Austrian American Council West, with local officials such as LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger helping bring it to life; ribbon-cutting occurred Friday and residents are set to move in next month.
