Apple bets big on U.S. chipmaking with Broadcom pact
Apple expands its Broadcom partnership in a multi-year deal exceeding $30 billion to produce more than 15 billion U.S.-made chips, including a $1.5 billion Fort Collins expansion, with Broadcom set to supply custom ASIC silicon through 2031 to strengthen the domestic chip supply chain.
