Ikea introduces affordable smart LED strip with Dirigera compatibility
Ikea has launched its first smart RGB LED light strip, called Ormanäs, in the Netherlands. Priced at €29.99, the dimmable Zigbee strip works with Ikea's Dirigera smart hub and supports control via the Ikea Home app, Ikea Styrbar remote, Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. The strip is currently only available in the Netherlands but is expected to roll out to other markets. Ikea plans to add Matter support to the Dirigera hub in the future, allowing for cross-platform compatibility with devices from different ecosystems.
