Utah Snowboarder Fends Off Mountain Lion Attack
A man in Utah fended off a mountain lion attack at a ski resort using his snowboard after noticing fresh paw prints and spotting the animal just steps away. He swung his snowboard at the mountain lion, which grazed his neck before being knocked to the ground. The cat, apparently starving and injured, eventually ran off. Photos on Instagram showed his torn jacket, and snowboard brands offered to send him new gear after he shared his story.
