Post-tailgate shooting near Notre Dame injures officer and woman; suspect remains at large
A post-tailgate shooting near Notre Dame’s Eddy Street Commons in South Bend injured a woman and a police officer. Both victims are hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover. The suspected shooter, described as a heavyset Black man with dreadlocks, fled west and remains at large as police continue the search.
