Wegmans announces Oct. 14 grand opening for its southernmost store in Ballantyne, Charlotte
Wegmans announced the grand opening of its first Charlotte store in Ballantyne for Oct. 14 at 9 a.m., a 110,000-square-foot location that will be the retailer’s southernmost and is expected to hire about 450 people. This marks Wegmans’ latest step in its Charlotte expansion, with four NC stores already open in the Raleigh-Durham area since 2019, and plans for a fifth NC store and a Pittsburgh-area store in the works.
