Spate of Shootings Leaves Birmingham Reeling with Multiple Deaths
A man was shot and killed in southwest Birmingham, marking the city's third homicide in less than 24 hours. The victim, identified as Willie Henderson, was found unresponsive in a home and pronounced dead at the scene. The previous two homicides included a shootout in the Lakeview District and a fatal shooting during a dispute at a restaurant. Birmingham has now recorded 131 homicides this year, with a total of 182 in Jefferson County. No arrests have been made in connection with the recent killings.
