Rare GameCube Prototype from 2000 Nintendo Space World Found with Unique Features
The 2000 Nintendo Space World GameCube, which was debuted at the trade show, has been found and purchased by Donny Fillerup of Console Variations. The Space World unit has several design differences from the retail version, including a window lid, a flat reset button, and a round convex power button. It also has 121 air vents for cooling, compared to the retail version's 64. The GBA player holes are larger, and the names on the covers are printed in white instead of carved in.
