Sperm-injecting robot successfully produces first babies.
Spanish startup Overture Life has successfully used a sperm-injecting robot, controlled by a PlayStation controller, to fertilize human eggs resulting in the birth of two healthy babies. The process is an update to traditional in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and aims to make the process cheaper and more accessible by automating parts of the process. However, the process is still in its early stages and requires manual loading of sperm cells onto the injector needles.
