Comcast is spinning off most of its cable networks into a new entity called SpinCo, dividing NBCUniversal's linear networks. NBC and Bravo, along with Telemundo and streamer Peacock, remain with Comcast, while networks like USA, Syfy, and MSNBC move to SpinCo. This decision is influenced by streaming performance, with NBC and Bravo shows performing well on Peacock. The restructuring may lead to staff changes, and SpinCo, valued at $7 billion, will initially operate under a transition services agreement with NBCUniversal.
