Chainsmokers Shows Spark Hospitalizations Across Two Events in a Month
The Chainsmokers’ shows have sparked hospitalizations at two events in under a month: on Aug. 9 at Splash House in Palm Springs, nine were injured and seven hospitalized after bottles flew during a dispute (a suspect was later arrested), and on Sept. 4 at Discovery Meadow in San Jose, 14 people were hospitalized due to alcohol or drug problems, raising ongoing safety concerns for future performances.
