Multiple Shootings Outside Malls Leave One Dead and Several Injured
One person was shot outside White Oaks Mall in Springfield, Illinois, on Saturday afternoon. The victim, a 23-year-old male, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The mall was put on lockdown but has since reopened. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Springfield Police Department or Sangamon/Menard County Crime Stoppers.
