Noah Lyles becomes the first American in over a decade to achieve the coveted 100-200 sprint double at the track and field world championships, winning the men's 200-meter final with a time of 19.52. Lyles' teammate, Erriyon Knighton, finished second, and Botswana's Letsile Tebogo placed third. In the women's 200-meters, Shericka Jackson won her second consecutive world championship title with a time of 21.41, setting a world championships record.
