IHIT Shifts Missing Virgin River Actor Stewart McLean Case into Homicide Investigation
British Columbia’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has elevated the missing Virgin River actor Stewart McLean’s case to a homicide investigation after investigators uncovered evidence suggesting he was the victim; IHIT took over May 20 from Squamish RCMP. McLean, last seen May 15 at his Lions Bay home, was reported missing May 18. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact IHIT. McLean’s credits include Virgin River, Arrow and other Vancouver-area projects.
