Six Ed Sheeran crew hurt in forklift mishap at Detroit show
Six Ed Sheeran crew members were taken to hospital after a stage-dismantling incident at Ford Field in Detroit when a piece of stage equipment moved unexpectedly (described as a forklift). Two workers were in serious condition, four stable, with one kept overnight. Ford Field said it is cooperating with authorities as a full review begins, and no cause has been specified. Sheeran will continue his US tour with a Sept. 4 show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and had appeared at the Pokémon World Championships the night after the incident.
