Ole Miss Shocks No. 1 Stanford in NCAA Women's Tournament Upset.
After her top-seeded Stanford women's basketball team was upset in the NCAA Tournament, coach Tara VanDerveer seemed to take a shot at the Stanford men's basketball team, saying they would be "ecstatic" to be playing two games in the tournament. The Stanford men have only made the tournament once in AD Bernard Muir's tenure, while VanDerveer's women have won a national title and made two other Final Fours in the same period. However, some reporters have suggested VanDerveer's comment was taken out of context.
