Former Delaware Teacher Arrested for Multiple Counts of Child Rape
Former Delaware educator, Reed Messer, has been arrested for multiple counts of rape after accusations of a sexual relationship with a former student. The relationship began in October 2014 and lasted for approximately two months. Messer was charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person of Trust 1st Degree, Rape 3rd Degree, and Rape 4th Degree. She is being held in the Department of Corrections in South Carolina on a $310,000 cash bond. Messer has not been an employee of the Red Clay Consolidated School District since November 2014.
