Delicatessen Owner Pistol-Whipped and Carjacked in New Orleans
Dan Stein, owner of Stein's Deli in Uptown New Orleans, was beaten and carjacked in front of his store. Four suspects in a dark-colored vehicle pulled guns and demanded he exit his Toyota 4Runner. Stein complied but was struck in the head with a firearm. The suspects fled in both Stein's vehicle and their own. The incident was captured on surveillance footage, and police are now searching for the stolen vehicle.
