DeSantis confronts reporter over voter snub accusation: "Are you blind?"
Ron DeSantis, a GOP presidential candidate, called out an Associated Press reporter, Steve Peoples, who accused him of not engaging with voters on the campaign trail. DeSantis fired back, saying that people were coming up to him and talking to him. Never Back Down, a super PAC supporting DeSantis, tweeted out video of the exchange, referring to Peoples as a “fake news reporter.” DeSantis reiterated many of the themes of his campaign so far, taking shots at GOP frontrunner and former President Donald Trump as well as President Biden.
