Lawsuit ties Freedom Fuel stations to stolen fuel undercutting rivals
A Aug. 2026 federal lawsuit by Mansfield Oil Co. alleges KRSM Inc. obtained more than 1 million gallons of fuel worth about $4 million from a Sunoco terminal without paying, and that some of this fuel was sold to Freedom Fuel Network stations around Philadelphia and New Jersey at deep discounts. The suit contends this allowed the discount network to undercut competitors, while Freedom Fuel and KRSM deny the allegations and the White House says it has no dealings with KRSM. The case follows a history of lawsuits involving Kazmi-affiliated entities, and authorities in PA/NJ declined to comment.
