Jacksonville Officer Critically Injured in Shooting During Traffic Stop
A 25-year-old Jacksonville police officer, Malik Daricaud, was critically injured after being shot while assisting officers with a follow-up investigation for a traffic incident from last week. The incident stemmed from a traffic stop that happened a week ago on Sunday, March 19. The suspect, Tyliko Maduro, died by suicide after firing several shots at the officers. No other officers were injured.
