Possible Serial Killer Suspected in Deaths of 4 Women in Portland Metro Area
Portland police have reversed their initial stance and now believe that the deaths of four women in and around the city may be the work of a possible serial killer. Jesse Lee Calhoun, who was released early from prison in 2021, is being investigated in connection with the suspicious deaths. Calhoun is a person of interest tied to all four cases. The bodies of six women were found within 100 miles of each other between February and May. The cause and manner of the deaths remain undetermined. Calhoun is currently back in custody after his commutation sentence was revoked.
