Grace Van Patten, Sydney Chandler, Adria Arjona Vie for Maxima in Superman Sequel
Deadline reports James Gunn is narrowing candidates for the live-action Maxima role in the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow, with Grace Van Patten, Sydney Chandler and Adria Arjona among those testing; Maxima is the Almerac warrior queen from the comics, and the film will also feature David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Brainiac as the threat, with production starting in Atlanta this spring for a July 9, 2027 release.
