New Indictment in Miss Hall's School Abuse Case Targets Former Science Teacher
A former Miss Hall's School science teacher, Matthew Johnson, 70, was indicted on assault with intent to rape and two counts of indecent assault on a victim over 14 in connection with his tenure at the Pittsfield boarding school in 1993-1994. The indictment is part of an ongoing teacher-abuse case that also involves Jeannie Norris, charged with reckless endangerment, and Matthew Rutledge, previously indicted for rape involving two former students; Johnson's arraignment date has not yet been set.
