Tech giants warn AI danger and push for global security response
More than 100 leading companies, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft and Google, sign an urgent open letter warning that AI-powered cyberattacks could threaten hospitals, water treatment and other critical infrastructure, and call for a global, funded effort to bolster defenses, accelerate trusted access to powerful models, and coordinate a unified security response.
