Police Shootout in Temple Leaves One Dead and Another Injured
A woman was fatally shot by a Temple Police Department officer in Temple, Texas, after allegedly pointing a firearm at officers who were responding to a disturbance with shots fired. The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident, and the officer involved has been placed on administrative leave. The woman was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead. The internal affairs division is also conducting an investigation.
