Deadly Tenancy Dispute Leaves Hamilton Neighbourhood in Shock
A Canadian couple, who were soon to be married, were shot dead by their landlord over a tenancy dispute in Hamilton, Ontario. The landlord barricaded himself inside the house with firearms before dying in a shootout with police. The victims were identified as a 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man who had been living at the home as tenants. The suspect was fatally shot during an exchange of gunfire with police. The families of the victims have been notified and the case is being investigated.
