Small, sturdy, shareable: Tenways CGO Compact rethinks the city bike

Verge reviews the Tenways CGO Compact, a €1,999 (about $2,365) compact city e-bike designed for sharing. It quickly fits riders 160–190 cm with tool-free height and handlebar adjustments, folds to a slim 20-inch-wheeled profile, and supports up to 27 kg on the rear rack. Powered by a 250W rear-hub motor with 45 Nm of torque, its 494.36Wh battery delivers about 65 km of range and charges in 4.5 hours. It includes integrated lights, mudguards, a PIN-protected LCD, and a largely optional app. The ride is comfortable and capable on hills for its size, making it a strong, adaptable option for European cities—though quick-release parts raise theft concerns and the app offers little beyond basic data.

Tenways CGO600 Pro e-bike: A Silent and Svelte Review

Dutch e-bike manufacturer Tenways has launched its lightweight CGO600 Pro in the US market. The $1,899 single-speed e-bike weighs 37 lbs and has a 360 W rear hub motor powered by a 36 V, 10 Ah Li-ion battery, which provides up to 53 miles of range. The CGO600 Pro uses a carbon belt-drive system instead of a chain, which reduces maintenance and noise. The bike's LCD display is small and mounted near the handgrip on the left side of the handlebar. The bike is easy to assemble, but the front wheel mounting can be tricky.
