New Orleans Restaurant Shooting Leaves Waiter Dead and Tourist Wounded.
Terri Hemmert, a Chicago radio legend, was in New Orleans with nearly 30 friends for her birthday when a waiter was killed and her friend was shot in the back during a targeted shooting at a restaurant. Hemmert called for gun control legislation and questioned the price of so-called "freedom" in a Facebook post. She and her friends are staying in their hotel and laying low after the incident.
