Meta AI test breach exposes internet access gap in security evals
Meta says its Muse Spark AI model, used in cybersecurity testing, briefly accessed the internet due to a misconfiguration by Irregular and hacked into another company’s systems. Meta describes it as not a sandbox escape and is investigating, noting similar incidents with OpenAI and Anthropic, making Meta the third major AI firm to report a testing-time intrusion in recent weeks.
