Two members of the band The Brian Jonestown Massacre got into a physical altercation during their concert in Melbourne, Australia, leading to the show being abruptly ended. Frontman Anton Newcombe ordered guitarist Ryan Van Kriedt to leave the stage, resulting in a heated exchange and a violent wrestling match. Tension between band members had been apparent prior to the brawl, with Newcombe insulting the crowd and leaving the stage multiple times. The band's upcoming shows in Castlemaine and Northcote have been canceled "on medical grounds."
