HBO Max Orders Jimmy Olsen-Gorilla Grodd Docu-Style Spinoff
HBO Max has given an eight-episode, straight-to-series order to The People v. Gorilla Grodd, a half-hour, docu-style spinoff from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television about Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen reopening Gorilla Grodd’s murder case. Starring Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen and Jimmy Tatro as Grodd, with Beck Bennett, Mikaela Hoover and Wendell Pierce in supporting roles, the eight-episode series is produced by James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault serving as showrunners.
