Jayland Walker Case: Arrests, Indictments, and Calls for Peace.
Six people were arrested by Akron police during protests over the grand jury decision not to indict any officers in connection with the fatal shooting of Jayland Walker last June. Over 60 vehicles were involved in blocking traffic and committing traffic violations, creating a risk to public safety. Police recovered at least two illegal handguns during traffic stops and heard gunshots in the area. The protest ended around midnight.
