Art Institute Closures Leave Students in Limbo and Devastation
The Art Institute of Houston, along with several other schools in the nation, is abruptly closing, leaving students in a state of uncertainty. Students and professors were seen leaving the building with boxes, trying to process the sudden closure. Many students are concerned about transferring their credits to other schools and potentially having to start their education from scratch. The closure has also resulted in job loss for faculty members. The Art Institutes system of schools is working to facilitate student transfers, but some students are considering entering the workforce instead.
