Neighbor shoots and kills Illinois man using leaf blower in yard.
An Illinois man, William Martys, was shot dead by his 79-year-old neighbor, Ettore Lacchei, while using a leaf blower in his yard. Lacchei was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The two men had a history, and Lacchei had pulled a gun on Martys before. Martys’ death is part of a string of shootings in which people have been harmed or killed over trivial matters.
