Apple Music is challenging Spotify's dominance by partnering with TuneIn to offer its live radio stations across more devices and reach a broader audience, aiming to expand its user base and market share in the competitive music streaming industry.
Apple has partnered with TuneIn to make its six live Apple Music radio stations available for free outside of the Apple Music app, expanding their reach to over 75 million TuneIn users across various platforms, while promoting the potential for listeners to subscribe to the full Apple Music service.
Garth Brooks has announced "The BIG 615," the first of seven commercial-free channels he'll launch on the streaming audio platform TuneIn via his SEVENS Radio format. The station will fill a void in the genre for classic-first country fans and will see him partner with his three-decade-long friend -- and former SiriusXM The Highway host -- Storme Warren. The BIG 615's Music Director is Country Aircheck's former Sr. Radio Editor, Monta Vaden. TuneIn has over 80 million monthly active users and distribution across 100,000 radio stations, 200 platforms and connected devices in 122 countries.
