Turkish expats vote in presidential election while world watches.
Turkish citizens living abroad have started to cast their votes in the presidential election runoff between incumbent Recep Tayyip Erdogan and challenger Kemal Kilicdaroglu. Around 3.4 million Turks living abroad are eligible to vote, with 1.5 million registered Turkish voters in Germany having until May 24 to cast their vote. Meanwhile, the candidates continue campaigning, with Kilicdaroglu vowing to send back millions of migrants in a bid to win the backing of ultra-nationalists, while Erdogan has toughened his message to win over Turkey's right-wing voters.
