The Chicago White Sox agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract with reliever Seranthony Domínguez to bolster a rebuilt bullpen. A former setup man who has rebuilt after Tommy John surgery and added a splitter/curve last season, Domínguez could contribute in late innings and possibly close. The signing comes as Chicago reshapes its roster (including trading Luis Robert Jr. to the Mets to free payroll) and will require a corresponding 40-man roster move to finalize.
The Arizona Cardinals have signed offensive lineman Dennis Daley to a two-year deal, the team announced. Daley, who played for the Carolina Panthers for the past two seasons, started 21 games at left guard and left tackle. The Cardinals hope Daley will provide depth and competition on their offensive line.
