Covington bummed to miss UFC White House card, rips the lineup as underwhelming
Colby Covington says he was campaigning to be on UFC’s White House event but wasn’t booked. He offered to fight at 170 with a full camp, or at middleweight on short notice, and even accepted the winner of Malott–Burns, but no opponent materialized. He won’t pull strings with Trump for help and criticizes the card as disorganized and lacking American stars, noting the lineup centers on Topuria–Gaethje for the lightweight title and Pereira–Gane for the interim heavyweight title.
