Marvel is closing the Ultimate Universe with Ultimate Universe Finale #1 this April, ending a two-year interconnected run that also wraps up Ultimate Endgame, Ultimate Wolverine, Ultimates, and other Ultimate titles; a special one-shot brings together all Ultimate creators for a farewell, with print releases and digital options via Marvel Unlimited.
Overwatch 2 developers are planning to make adjustments to the game's ultimates and other "snowball mechanics" to prevent stomp matches and improve game balance. The team has been collecting data on stomp matches and found out that they can occur regardless of match quality. The lead developer used the Control map type as an example, noting how players sometimes get annihilated in the first round only to come roaring back in the second to win the whole match. Changes are in the works, and one possibility could be an ultimate charge reset in game modes such as Payload once a checkpoint has been reached.
