Modest Mouse parts ways with guitarist amid minor-messaging controversy
Modest Mouse has cut guitarist Simon O’Connor from its North American tour after allegations he sent messages to an underage fan. O’Connor posted a lengthy Reddit statement denying sexual misconduct toward minors, saying he mistakenly messaged what he thought was the same person behind multiple profiles and apologizing for his actions. The band announced that Seth Jabour of Les Savy Fav will replace him on guitar for the forthcoming tour.
